Let Go

Letting go of what the world thinks of you —
and finally paying attention to what you think about yourself —
that takes a learning curve.
And a kind of love you might not be ready to face yet.
To keep trying to move forward, to get pushed back again, to want to stop…
it’s understandable. The world keeps telling you to “make it against all odds,”
but never asks whether those odds were even yours to begin with.
So, what if the goal isn’t to live up to anyone else’s standards?
What if the only standard that matters is the one that makes you happy?
What would you feel about yourself then?
What if the thing you loved the most — the thing people said wasn’t realistic —
is actually the thing that earns your keep?
What if the “normal job” is what’s been holding you back, and the niche you were born for is the thing that actually motivates you?
Then what?
Because when you strip yourself of everything —
the expectations, the noise, the roles —
the only thing left is you and your soul.
And that has to be enough.
Make yourself happy.
No matter the age.
No matter the timeline.
Do what you’re intended to do, even if history has to rewrite itself to make room for you.
